The J-40S encoder is a compact solid shaft solution designed for applications where space is limited. With a 40 mm die-cast housing and gland sealing, it offers a strong yet lightweight design ideal for dense industrial environments.

Available with 6, 6.35, or 8 mm shaft, it supports HV, HVLD, OC, and TTL/RS422 outputs. Featuring a shatter-proof polycarbonate disk, temperature- and aging-compensated LEDs, and an ASIC-based design with surge protection (IEC 61000-4-5), it ensures stable and accurate performance even under harsh electrical conditions.

The J-40S operates up to 100 kHz, provides IP50 or IP54 protection, and withstands temperatures from -10 °C to +100 °C. Mounting options include standard servo flanges (M1, M2, M3), allowing for easy integration in compact mechanical layouts.
