The J-40H/T encoder is a compact and rugged hollow shaft solution, designed for tight installation spaces, available in blind (H) or through (T) bore versions up to 8 mm. Its 40 mm die-cast body and up to IP54 protection make it suitable for harsh industrial conditions.

Equipped with a shatter-proof polycarbonate disk, temperature- and aging-compensated LEDs, and ASIC electronics with IEC61000-4-5 surge protection, this encoder delivers high reliability and durability. Signal outputs include AB or ABZ, with optional index gating configurations.
